Description
McAlpine SE10 50mm 2″ Tubular Swivel P Trap
McAlpine SE10 is a 50mm / 2″ tubular swivel P trap with a 75mm water seal and Multifit compression outlet. It is designed for larger waste pipework installations where a 2″ trap connection is required.
McAlpine SE10 Trade Overview
The McAlpine SE10 is a practical 2″ swivel P trap for trade plumbing, maintenance and refurbishment work. It is suitable for larger waste systems where a 50mm / 2″ trap is needed rather than a standard 32mm or 40mm basin or sink trap.
The tubular swivel design gives installers flexibility when lining up the trap with existing waste pipework. This is useful on replacement jobs, commercial plumbing work and larger waste pipe installations where pipe routes may not line up perfectly.
The 75mm water seal helps prevent foul odours from coming back through the waste system. The 2″ Multifit compression outlet is suitable for common waste pipe materials including plastic, copper and lead pipe.

Why Choose a 50mm / 2″ P Trap?
A 50mm / 2″ P trap is used where the waste pipework is larger than standard basin or sink waste systems. The larger trap size is useful for higher flow waste pipework and commercial-style installations where 2″ pipe is already fitted.
The McAlpine SE10 gives a reliable 75mm seal with the added benefit of a swivel trap body. This makes it easier to line up with existing waste pipe routes compared with a fixed-position trap.
Installation Notes
Before fitting, check that the waste outlet and waste pipework are suitable for a 50mm / 2″ trap. Cut the waste pipe cleanly and make sure it is fully inserted into the Multifit compression outlet before tightening.
After installation, run water through the waste system and check all compression joints for leaks. Make sure the trap remains accessible for future cleaning and maintenance.
