The 450mm manhole cover and frame square is used to complete a compatible Kayflow 450mm inspection chamber system. It provides access for inspection, rodding and maintenance on 110mm underground drainage layouts.
This Kayflow UG2001 square cover and frame is part of the 450mm inspection chamber range. It is designed for use with compatible Kayflow 450mm chamber bases, risers and sealing components.
Kayflow lists the UG2001 square cover and frame with a 1.5 tonne / 15kN loading. Therefore, it should only be used where the cover loading is suitable for the installation area.

450mm Manhole Cover and Frame
This 450mm manhole cover and frame should be fitted with compatible Kayflow chamber components. The frame should sit level and be properly supported as part of the finished chamber installation.
Before fitting, check that the chamber base, riser, sealing ring and cover frame are all compatible. Also, make sure the chamber top is clean, stable and correctly set to the finished ground level.
Do not install this cover in areas where the expected loading is higher than the manufacturer rating. If the chamber is in a driveway or trafficked area, check the site specification before use.
450mm Manhole Cover Installation Use
The 450mm manhole cover should be installed as part of a properly supported inspection chamber system. Correct bedding, backfill and frame support help keep the chamber stable after installation.
Kayflow states that 450 inspection chambers can be installed to a maximum depth of 1200mm, and all sockets are 110mm except the UG1014 base. Always confirm the final chamber depth, cover loading and finished ground level before installation.
This product is not a chamber base or riser on its own. It should be matched with compatible Kayflow 450mm chamber components.
