Description
The 450mm chamber base 5 inlet creates the lower section of a compatible Kayflow 450mm inspection chamber system. It gives access for inspection, rodding and maintenance on 110mm underground drainage layouts.
This Kayflow UG1005 chamber base suits domestic drainage, garden drainage, extensions, repairs and light-duty site drainage work. It works with matching Kayflow 450mm risers, riser seals and chamber covers.
The 5 inlet layout gives installers several connection options. As a result, it is useful where multiple 110mm drainage runs need to connect into one inspection chamber.
450mm Chamber Base for 110mm Drainage
The 450mm chamber base forms the main lower section of the inspection chamber. It allows compatible 110mm underground drainage pipework to connect into the chamber while keeping future access available.
Kayflow lists UG1005 as the 450 manhole base. The full chamber system includes 1 main entry, 2 x 90° entries, 2 x 45° entries and 4 blanking plugs.

450mm Chamber Base 5 Inlet Layout
The 450mm chamber base gives practical inlet options for 110mm underground drainage systems. It can help connect several pipe runs into one larger inspection chamber.
Before installation, check the pipe route, flow direction, inlet positions, invert level and finished ground level. Then blank off any unused entries before the chamber is backfilled.
Use compatible 110mm underground drainage pipe and fittings. If the chamber needs extra height, add the correct Kayflow 450mm riser and riser sealing ring.
450mm Chamber Base Installation Use
Install the 450mm chamber base as part of a properly supported inspection chamber system. Good bedding, support and backfill help keep the chamber stable after installation.
Kayflow states that 450 inspection chambers can be installed to a maximum depth of 1200mm. Therefore, check the final chamber depth before fitting risers and covers.
This product is a chamber base only. It is not a riser, sealing ring, cover or frame on its own.
