The 160mm saddle clamp 90° tee lateral connector is designed for connecting a 160mm PVC lateral pipe into a larger smooth wall main drainage pipe. It is suitable for 200mm to 400mm main pipes and is ideal for underground drainage, sewer and surface water connection work.

160mm Saddle Clamp for Underground Drainage
This 160mm saddle clamp is a useful fitting for underground drainage installations where a branch pipe needs to connect into an existing main run. It can be used on suitable smooth wall pipes with the correct outside diameter range.
The saddle is secured with straps that pass around the outside of the main pipe. Therefore, enough working space must be excavated around the pipe before installation. The installer should also check the pipe material, outside diameter and wall condition before fitting.
Once the pipe opening is prepared, the gasket and saddle are positioned over the hole. The stainless steel shroud and straps are then tightened to the required torque. Finally, the 160mm lateral pipe is inserted and secured into the saddle connection.
