Description
The flexible drainage connector is designed for joining 6 inch clay drainage pipe to 6 inch PVC drainage pipe where the outside diameters are different. This VIPSeal VAC6000 adaptor coupling is suitable for pipe outside diameter ranges of 180-200mm to 160-180mm.

Flexible Drainage Connector for Underground Repairs
The flexible drainage connector is a practical fitting for underground drainage repairs. It can be used when replacing a damaged section of clay pipe with PVC pipe, or when adapting an existing clay drainage run into a newer plastic drainage system.
Because the connector is flexible, it can help deal with small variations in pipe diameter and alignment. However, the pipes still need to sit correctly within the coupling. The pipe ends should be clean, sound and properly supported before the bands are tightened.

Flexible Drainage Connector Installation Use

Do not use the connector on damaged, badly cracked or unstable pipe ends without first preparing the pipework correctly. Also, make sure the pipe is properly bedded and supported after installation. This helps protect the joint from movement after backfilling.
