Description
Flexible end cap from VIPSeal for capping pipe ends with an outside diameter between 105mm and 115mm. This VECR115 end cap is suitable for temporarily or permanently sealing compatible pipework during drainage repairs, testing, maintenance and installation work.
The flexible rubber body fits over the outside of the pipe and is tightened using the supplied stainless steel tension band. This helps create a secure cap on suitable drainage pipe, soil pipe, waste pipe or other compatible pipe materials.
This 105-115mm flexible end cap is useful for builders, plumbers, groundworkers and drainage installers. It can help keep dirt, debris and water out of open pipe ends during site work, and it can also be used as a clean-out or temporary protective cap where suitable.
Before fitting, always measure the pipe outside diameter and check that it falls within the 105-115mm size range. Clean the outside of the pipe before fitting and tighten the band evenly until the cap is secure.

How to Use a Flexible End Cap
First, measure the outside diameter of the pipe. Make sure it sits within the 105-115mm range before fitting the cap.
Next, clean the pipe end. Remove dirt, grit, grease and loose material so the rubber cap can sit evenly around the pipe.
Push the flexible end cap fully over the pipe end. Then tighten the stainless steel band evenly until the cap sits firmly in place. Finally, check the seal before leaving the pipe capped.
