Description
The Timco 115mm Mortar Raking Diamond Blade is a Mortar Raking Blade for removing mortar from between bricks before repointing. It is designed for use with compatible 115mm angle grinders and is ideal for brickwork, masonry repair, renovation and restoration jobs.
This mortar raking diamond blade measures 115 x 22.2mm and has a 22.2mm bore for use with suitable angle grinders. The 7mm cold sintered diamond segments are designed to rake out mortar joints efficiently while the heavy-duty body provides strength during demanding site work.
The blade is manufactured from hardened carbon steel with diamond segments and is suitable for mortar raking applications. It is useful for builders, bricklayers, landscapers, maintenance teams, renovation trades and DIY users carrying out repointing preparation work.

How to Use a Mortar Raking Diamond Blade
Fit the blade to a compatible 115mm angle grinder with the correct 22.2mm bore. Always check the blade, grinder guard, flange and machine speed before use.
Work along the mortar joint using steady, controlled movement. Do not force the blade into the joint, and avoid cutting into the brick face where possible.
Wear suitable PPE including eye protection, gloves, hearing protection and respiratory protection. Mortar raking creates dust, so use dust control where possible and follow all site safety guidance.
