Description
Security tape from PAL Adhesives is designed for glazing, sealed unit positioning and uPVC window fabrication. This 1mm white double sided security tape measures 10mm x 50m and is ideal for trade glazing, window fitting and secure bonding applications where a thin, reliable tape is required.
The double sided polyethylene foam construction provides strong adhesion with minimal build-up, making it suitable for precision fitting work on white frame systems. It is commonly used for security glazing, sealed unit support, glazing bar applications, trims and general bonding work in window and door installations.
PAL Adhesives lists the RAS66101 range as 1mm thick double sided polyethylene security glazing tape with hot melt adhesive. The technical sheet states that the product has been independently tested to BS7950:1997 for enhanced security performance and is approved for security glazing applications.

How to Use Security Tape
Make sure the frame, glass or trim surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose material before applying the tape.
Apply the tape evenly to the required surface, pressing firmly along the full length to ensure good contact. Avoid stretching the tape during application.
Remove the liner when ready to bond, then position the sealed unit, trim or glazing component carefully. Apply even pressure to complete the bond.
