Description
Georgian bar tape from PAL Adhesives is designed for bonding glazing bars, trims and suitable fabrication components in window and door systems. This 1mm black bar tape measures 15mm x 50m and is ideal for trade glazing, uPVC fabrication and trim bonding work where a thin, reliable foam tape is required.
The high density PE foam construction provides a consistent bonding layer while keeping a low-profile finish. The black colour makes it suitable for darker frames, black trims and applications where the tape needs to remain discreet behind glazing bars or bonded components.
PAL Adhesives lists RA8625G as 1mm thick black high density PE foam tape on a green filmic release liner, with solvent acrylic adhesive. The Georgian bar tape range is designed to offer strong UV resistance and shear strength for glazing and fabrication applications.

How to Use Georgian Bar Tape
Make sure the frame, glass, trim or glazing bar surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose material before applying the tape.
Apply the tape evenly to the required surface, pressing firmly along the full length to ensure good contact. Avoid stretching the tape during application.
Remove the liner when ready to bond, then position the glazing bar, trim or profile carefully. Apply even pressure to complete the bond.
