Fortex Shadow Gap Butt Joint 182mm
Shadow Gap Butt Joint for covering the join between two compatible 182mm Fortex Shadow Gap cladding boards. The shaped profile follows the face of the board and provides a neat, colour-matched finish.
Special-order product – we do not normally hold this range in stock. The usual lead time is approximately 1–2 weeks.
Fortex Shadow Gap Butt Joint
This joint is designed for Fortex 182mm Shadow Gap Cladding. Therefore, it matches the deep recessed profile of the compatible board.
The joint covers the point where two board lengths meet. As a result, it helps create a clean and consistent finish across larger wall areas.
However, this is not a universal cladding joint. Use it only with the correct Fortex Shadow Gap profile.

Choosing the Correct Shadow Gap Butt Joint
Select the same colour as your Fortex Shadow Gap boards. This helps the joint blend into the completed elevation.
Next, count each point where two board lengths will meet. Quantity 1 equals one individual butt joint. Therefore, order one joint for every board-to-board connection.
Also allow for the correct starter trims, corners, edge trims and ventilation parts required for the installation.
Delivery & Collection
When ordered with 5m Fortex cladding boards, the complete order is available for local North East delivery or collection from our Hexham trade counter only.
This butt joint may be suitable for parcel delivery when ordered on its own. However, please contact us before ordering if standalone delivery is required.
