Fortex Feather Edge Butt Joint 170mm
Fortex Feather Edge Butt Joint for covering the join between two compatible 170mm Fortex cladding boards. It follows the overlapping Weatherboard profile and gives the completed wall a neat, colour-matched finish.
Special-order product – we do not normally hold this range in stock. The usual lead time is approximately 1–2 weeks.
Fortex Feather Edge Butt Joint
This joint is designed for Fortex 170mm Feather Edge Cladding, which is also known as Fortex Weatherboard Cladding. Therefore, it matches the shape and embossed finish of the compatible board.
The joint covers the point where two board ends meet. As a result, it helps create a clean and consistent finish across longer wall areas.
However, this is not a universal cladding joint. Use it only with the correct Fortex 170mm Feather Edge or Weatherboard profile.

Choosing the Correct Feather Edge Butt Joint
Select the same colour as your Fortex cladding boards. This allows the joint to blend into the finished elevation.
Next, count every point where two board lengths will meet. Quantity 1 equals one individual butt joint. Therefore, order one joint for each board-to-board connection.
Also allow for the correct starter trims, corners, edge trims and ventilation parts needed for the installation.
Delivery & Collection
When ordered with 5m Fortex cladding boards, the complete order is available for local North East delivery or collection from our Hexham trade counter only.
This butt joint may be suitable for parcel delivery when ordered on its own. However, please contact us before ordering if standalone delivery is required.
