Fortex Feather Edge Cladding 170mm x 5m
Fortex Feather Edge Cladding recreates the overlapping appearance of traditional timber weatherboards with a low-maintenance embossed PVC finish. Each pack contains four 170mm x 5m boards and covers approximately 3.4m².
Special-order product – we do not normally hold this range in stock. The usual lead time is approximately 1–2 weeks.
Delivery & Collection
Due to the 5m board length, this product is available for local North East delivery or collection from our Hexham trade counter only. It cannot be sent using a standard parcel courier.

Why Choose Fortex Feather Edge Cladding?
The tapered boards overlap to create a traditional weatherboard appearance. Therefore, the finished elevation has attractive horizontal shadow lines similar to painted timber cladding.
The embossed surface also provides visible woodgrain detail. As a result, the boards give walls a natural-looking textured finish without the need for regular painting or staining.
In addition, the overlapping design covers the board fixings as each new row is installed. This helps create a clean finish across the completed elevation.

Where Can the Weatherboard Profile Be Used?
Use the boards to clad house elevations, extensions, dormers, gable ends and exterior feature walls. The traditional profile suits both renovation work and new-build projects.
The boards are normally installed horizontally. However, always follow the current Freefoam fitting instructions and use suitable battens, ventilation, fixings and finishing trims.
Pack Coverage and Ordering
Each pack contains four 5m boards. Each board provides approximately 0.85m² of coverage, giving approximately 3.4m² per complete pack.
Quantity 1 therefore equals one pack containing four boards. First, calculate the total wall area. Then allow extra material for cutting, openings and waste.
Also calculate the butt joints, starter trims, corners and edge trims needed for the complete installation.
Choosing the Correct Colour
Select the required colour before adding the pack to your basket. Matching board joints and trims are available in complementary Fortex colours.
Colours may look different on individual screens. Therefore, check a physical Freefoam colour sample when an exact match is important.
