Description

The Timco Combination Square is a robust 300mm measuring and marking tool for setting out, checking angles and marking accurate lines. It is ideal for woodworking, joinery, metalworking, stonemasonry, fitting and general trade use.

This combination square features metric and imperial scales, making it practical for a wide range of site, workshop and installation jobs. The standard head can be used for marking and checking 45° and 90° angles, helping improve accuracy when cutting, fitting or setting out materials.

How to Use a Combination Square

Place the head firmly against the edge of the material and use the blade to mark a straight line, 90° angle or 45° mitre angle. Keep the square flat against the workpiece for the most accurate result.

Adjust the blade position when using the tool as a depth gauge or height gauge. Use the built-in level vial for quick levelling checks and the scribe for marking suitable surfaces where required.

Keep the blade and head clean after use, and avoid dropping or bending the tool, as damage can affect accuracy. Store safely in a toolbox, van kit or workshop drawer.
