Description
Torbeck Fill Valve ½” Brass Tail
Torbeck Fill Valve B661AT1/2B is a bottom entry toilet cistern fill valve with a ½” brass tail. It is designed to replace faulty or worn WC inlet valves, helping the cistern refill quickly, quietly and reliably after flushing.
Torbeck Fill Valve Trade Overview
The Torbeck Fill Valve is a practical replacement inlet valve for plumbers, bathroom fitters and maintenance teams carrying out toilet cistern repairs. It is suitable for bottom-entry WC cisterns where a durable ½” brass shank connection is required.
The compact valve body is useful in smaller cisterns and restricted spaces, while the adjustable height helps suit different cistern setups. The brass tail gives a stronger threaded connection than a standard plastic shank, making it a good option for repair and maintenance work.
This Torbeck fill valve is designed for quiet and fast filling, and performs well in low pressure situations. Pressure restrictors are supplied to help control flow rate depending on the water pressure, while the removable filter helps with future maintenance.

Why Choose This Torbeck Fill Valve?
The Torbeck B661AT1/2B is useful where a reliable bottom-entry replacement fill valve is needed with a brass threaded inlet connection. The brass shank helps make installation more secure and is often preferred for repair work where the inlet connection needs to be more durable.
The compact body, quiet refill design and adjustable height make it a useful stock item for common toilet cistern repairs.
Installation Notes
Before fitting, isolate the water supply and drain the cistern. Check that the cistern uses a bottom-entry ½” inlet connection and that there is enough space inside the cistern for the valve to be adjusted correctly.
Fit the brass tail through the cistern inlet hole and secure it according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Set the valve height to suit the cistern, fit the correct pressure restrictor if required, then adjust the water level after refilling.
After installation, turn the water back on, allow the cistern to fill and check the brass inlet connection for leaks. Flush and refill the cistern several times to confirm correct operation.
This is a toilet cistern fill valve, not a flush outlet valve. For flush repairs, use a suitable flush valve or syphon instead.
