FLEXCON3 vs FLEXCON1
The McAlpine FLEXCON3 is the 32mm / 1¼” universal x universal flexible connector. The McAlpine FLEXCON1 is the 32mm / 1¼” universal x plain spigot version.
Use FLEXCON3 where both ends need to connect into compatible universal waste fittings. Use FLEXCON1 where one end needs a plain spigot connection.
Installation Notes
Before fitting, check that both trap or waste connections are suitable for a 32mm / 1¼” universal connection. Dry fit the FLEXCON3 first to check the required angle, offset and working length.
Make sure both ends are fully seated into the compatible connections before tightening. Avoid over-stretching or twisting the flexible body, and make sure the waste pipe run still has a suitable fall for drainage.
After installation, run water through the waste pipework and check all joints for leaks.
