McAlpine WMF4 1½” 90° Appliance Nozzle
McAlpine WMF4 is a 90° appliance nozzle designed to connect a washing machine or dishwasher discharge hose into a 1½” Multifit waste trap or compatible compression fitting. It is a useful replacement part where the original appliance nozzle is damaged, missing or needs changing to an angled connection.
McAlpine WMF4 Trade Overview
The McAlpine WMF4 is a compact appliance waste fitting for plumbers, kitchen fitters and maintenance teams working on kitchen and utility waste pipework. It provides a 90° angled hose connection point for domestic appliance discharge, helping route washing machine or dishwasher waste hoses neatly inside cupboards and tight spaces.
The ribbed hose tail helps grip the appliance waste hose, while the larger end connects into a 1½” Multifit fitting or compatible appliance trap connection. This makes it useful for appliance trap repairs, replacement nozzle jobs and under-sink waste maintenance.
The WMF4 is manufactured in white polypropylene and is designed for use with suitable McAlpine Multifit waste trap connections. It is not a complete trap on its own and should be used with a compatible appliance trap, sink trap or waste fitting.

WMF4 vs WMF3
The McAlpine WMF3 is the straight appliance nozzle, while the WMF4 is the 90° angled appliance nozzle. Use WMF4 where the appliance hose needs to turn neatly from the trap or fitting, especially in tight under-sink spaces.
Installation Notes
Before fitting, check that the existing waste trap or fitting has a compatible 1½” Multifit connection. Fit the WMF4 nozzle securely into the trap connection and connect the appliance discharge hose onto the ribbed hose tail.
Make sure the hose is pushed fully onto the nozzle and secured where required. After installation, run the appliance discharge cycle and check the nozzle, hose and trap connection for leaks.
The McAlpine WMF4 is an appliance nozzle only. For a complete trap, use a suitable McAlpine appliance sink trap, standpipe trap or sink waste kit.
