McAlpine V33L is a 1½” domestic appliance swept tee with nozzle, designed to add a washing machine or dishwasher discharge connection into compatible kitchen or utility waste pipework.
McAlpine V33L Trade Overview
The McAlpine V33L is a useful appliance waste fitting for plumbers, kitchen fitters and maintenance teams working on under-sink waste pipework. It is commonly used where a washing machine or dishwasher discharge hose needs to connect into a sink waste system.
The swept tee design helps create a neater appliance discharge connection than forcing a hose connection into unsuitable pipework. It can be fitted between compatible trap and waste connections to provide a dedicated side nozzle for domestic appliance waste discharge.
The tapered appliance nozzle is suitable for common washing machine and dishwasher discharge hose sizes. It can be trimmed to suit 19mm or 22mm appliance discharge pipe, depending on the installation.
This is an appliance tee fitting only. It is not a complete trap and should be used with a suitable trap or compatible waste system.

Installation Notes
Before fitting, check that the existing trap, waste outlet and pipework are compatible with the V33L tee connection. Fit the swept tee in the correct position between the trap and waste pipework, then connect the washing machine or dishwasher discharge hose to the tapered nozzle.
Trim the tapered nozzle only if required to suit the appliance discharge hose size. Make sure the hose is pushed fully onto the nozzle and secured where required. After installation, run water through the sink and test the connected appliance discharge to check every joint and hose connection for leaks.
The McAlpine V33L is a tee and nozzle fitting only. For a complete appliance trap, use a suitable McAlpine washing machine sink trap, standpipe trap or sink kit.
