McAlpine MA15 is a 1″ BSP angled domestic appliance nozzle designed to connect a washing machine or dishwasher discharge hose to a compatible 1″ BSP threaded waste connection.

The McAlpine MA15 is a useful appliance waste fitting for plumbers, kitchen fitters and maintenance teams working on kitchen, utility and appliance waste pipework. It provides an angled hose connection point where a domestic appliance discharge hose needs to connect into a suitable threaded waste fitting.
The 135° angled nozzle helps route the washing machine or dishwasher hose neatly, especially in tight under-sink cupboards and utility room installations. This makes it useful for repair work, replacement fittings and appliance waste connection jobs where a straight nozzle would not sit correctly.
The MA15 connects to a 1″ BSP thread and can accept discharge from a washing machine or dishwasher. It is manufactured in white polypropylene and is supplied with a blank plug, allowing the appliance connection to be sealed when not in use.
This is an appliance nozzle only. It is not a complete waste trap and should be used with a compatible McAlpine trap, waste fitting or appliance connection point.

Installation Notes
Before fitting, check that the existing trap or waste fitting has a compatible 1″ BSP threaded connection. Fit the MA15 nozzle securely to the threaded connection, then push the appliance discharge hose fully onto the ribbed nozzle.
Secure the appliance hose where required and fit the supplied blank plug if the nozzle is not being used. After installation, run the appliance discharge cycle and check the nozzle, hose and threaded connection for leaks.
The McAlpine MA15 is a nozzle fitting only. For a complete appliance trap, use a suitable McAlpine washing machine sink trap, standpipe trap or sink kit.
