McAlpine WM11 is a 40mm / 1½” sink trap with twin 135° domestic appliance nozzles. It is designed for kitchen and utility sink waste installations where two appliance discharge hoses need to connect into the sink waste trap.

The McAlpine WM11 is a practical appliance sink trap for plumbers, kitchen fitters and maintenance teams working on under-sink waste pipework. It is commonly used where both a washing machine and dishwasher need to discharge into the sink waste system.
The twin 135° swivel appliance nozzles give flexible hose connection points, helping with alignment in tight kitchen sink cabinets and utility rooms. The adjustable inlet also helps line the trap up with existing sink waste outlets and pipework during repair or replacement work.
The WM11 has a 75mm water seal to help prevent drain odours from coming back through the waste system. It also features a 1½” Multifit compression outlet, suitable for common waste pipe materials including plastic, copper and lead pipe.
Blanking plugs are supplied, allowing the trap to function as a normal sink trap until one or both appliance connections are required.

Installation Notes
Before fitting, check that the sink waste outlet and waste pipework are suitable for a 40mm / 1½” trap. Fit the trap below the sink waste, adjust the inlet to suit the waste outlet and connect the Multifit outlet to the waste pipe.
Connect washing machine or dishwasher discharge hoses to the appliance nozzles and secure them where required. Fit blanking plugs to any unused nozzles. After installation, run water through the sink and test the connected appliances to check all compression joints and hose connections for leaks.
