McAlpine TR10 40mm 1½” Running Tubular P Trap
McAlpine TR10 is a 40mm / 1½” running tubular swivel P trap for horizontal waste pipe installations. It is designed for sink, basin, urinal and general waste pipework where the waste needs to pass through the trap in line, rather than drop into a standard top-inlet P trap.
McAlpine TR10 Trade Overview
The McAlpine TR10 running P trap is useful on waste layouts where both connections run horizontally. This makes it different from a standard tubular P trap, which usually has a vertical inlet and horizontal outlet. The TR10 has a U-shaped trap body with compression connections on each side, making it suitable for specific pipework layouts where an in-line running trap is needed.
This trap has a 75mm water seal to help prevent drain odours from coming back through the waste system. It is manufactured from white polypropylene, giving a durable and lightweight fitting for everyday plumbing use.
The TR10 uses a 1½” Multifit compression outlet. This connection is suitable for common waste pipe materials including plastic, copper and lead pipe, giving installers flexibility when working with new or existing waste pipework.

Installation Notes
