McAlpine SK2A-BL is a black 40mm / 1½” double bowl sink kit with two appliance nozzles, designed to connect a double bowl kitchen sink to a single waste pipe. It is suitable for kitchen and utility sink installations where a black under-sink waste kit is preferred.
McAlpine SK2A-BL Trade Overview
The McAlpine SK2A-BL is a practical under-sink plumbing kit for double bowl sinks. It is commonly used by plumbers, kitchen fitters and maintenance teams when fitting or replacing waste pipework below a kitchen sink.
This kit includes two nozzles to accept discharge from domestic appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers. Blanking plugs are supplied for any unused appliance nozzle connections, making the kit suitable for different kitchen and utility room layouts.
The SK2A-BL is supplied with a 1½” x 75mm water seal tubular swivel P trap. The 75mm water seal helps prevent drain odours from coming back through the sink waste, while the Multifit compression outlet suits common waste pipe materials including plastic, copper and lead pipe.
The black finish makes this kit useful for darker sink cabinets, exposed under-sink pipework or modern kitchen installations where black waste fittings are preferred over standard white fittings.

Installation Notes

Make sure appliance discharge hoses are securely connected to the nozzles, or fit the supplied blanking plugs where the nozzles are not being used. After installation, run water through both bowls and check every compression joint, appliance nozzle and trap connection for leaks.
