McAlpine G10 is a 40mm / 1½” shallow bottle trap for waste pipe installations where space below the sink, basin or appliance is limited. It is a compact white trap designed for trade plumbing jobs, repairs, maintenance work and replacement waste installations.
McAlpine G10 Trade Overview
The McAlpine G10 shallow bottle trap is designed with a shorter trap body than a standard deeper bottle trap. This makes it useful where there is restricted space below the fitting, such as inside cabinets, below compact sinks, or where pipework needs to stay close to the underside of the waste outlet.
This trap has a 40mm water seal to help reduce drain odours coming back through the waste system. It is manufactured from white polypropylene, giving a durable and lightweight fitting for everyday plumbing use.

Installation Notes
