McAlpine C10AR-CP 40mm 1½” Chrome Resealing Adjustable Bottle Trap
McAlpine C10AR-CP is a 40mm / 1½” chrome-plated plastic resealing adjustable inlet bottle trap for sink, basin and general waste pipe installations. It is designed for exposed waste pipework where a chrome finish is required, while still giving installers the benefit of height adjustment and resealing trap performance.
McAlpine C10AR-CP Trade Overview
The McAlpine C10AR-CP combines three useful features in one 40mm trap: a chrome-plated finish, an adjustable inlet and a resealing bottle trap design. This makes it a good option for plumbers, bathroom fitters, kitchen fitters and maintenance teams working on visible 40mm waste pipework.
The adjustable inlet helps line the trap up with the waste outlet and existing pipework. This is useful on repair, replacement and refurbishment jobs where the pipe positions may not be perfect. The chrome-plated plastic finish gives a cleaner appearance than a standard white trap, making it suitable where the trap will remain visible.
The resealing action helps retain an adequate water seal under syphonic conditions. This helps reduce the risk of the trap seal being pulled away by pressure changes in the waste system. The trap also has a 75mm water seal to help prevent drain odours from coming back through the waste outlet.
The 1½” Multifit compression outlet is suitable for common waste pipe materials including plastic, copper and lead pipe. This gives installers more flexibility when connecting into existing waste runs.

Why Choose a Chrome Resealing Adjustable Bottle Trap?

Installation Notes

Adjust the inlet height to suit the waste outlet position, then tighten all compression nuts securely by hand.
