McAlpine CAA10 32mm 1¼” Chrome Adjustable Bottle Trap
McAlpine CAA10 is a 32mm / 1¼” chrome-plated plastic adjustable bottle trap for basin waste installations. It is designed for bathrooms, cloakrooms, vanity units and exposed basin pipework where a cleaner chrome finish is preferred.

The McAlpine CAA10 bottle trap is a practical option for installers who need a neat finish below the basin. The chrome-plated plastic body gives the appearance of a chrome trap while keeping the fitting lightweight and easy to handle.
This trap has an adjustable inlet, which helps line the trap up with the basin waste and existing pipework. This makes it useful for new basin installations, replacement jobs and repair work where pipe positions may not be perfect.
The trap includes a 75mm water seal to help prevent drain odours from coming back through the basin waste. It also uses a Multifit compression outlet, which is suitable for common waste pipe materials including plastic, copper and lead pipe.

Why Choose a Chrome Adjustable Bottle Trap?

Installation Notes
Before fitting, check that the basin waste outlet and waste pipe are suitable for a 32mm / 1¼” trap. Cut the waste pipe cleanly and make sure it is pushed fully into the compression outlet. Adjust the inlet height to suit the basin, then tighten all compression nuts securely by hand.
After installation, run water through the basin and check every joint for leaks. The lower trap section can be removed for cleaning if required.
