Description
The solvent weld conversion bend is used to create a 90 degree change of direction in 50mm solvent weld waste pipe systems. It is a practical fitting for larger waste pipe runs where pipework needs to turn neatly within a compatible solvent weld installation.
This 50mm solvent weld conversion bend is suitable for compatible 50mm solvent weld waste systems and is available in Black, Olive Grey and White to match common pipework colours. When installed with the correct solvent cement and pipe preparation, it creates a permanent solvent weld joint.

Using a Solvent Weld Conversion Bend
Before fitting, check that the pipe and fitting are the correct size, clean and dry. Cut the pipe square, remove burrs, chamfer the pipe end where required and follow the correct solvent weld process for the system being installed.
Once solvent cement is applied and the joint is made, leave the connection to cure according to the solvent cement instructions before testing or putting the waste system into use.
