Description
The solvent weld conversion bend is used to create a 90 degree change of direction in 40mm solvent weld waste pipe systems. It is a practical fitting for sink, bath, shower, utility and general plumbing installations where waste pipework needs to turn neatly.

Using a Solvent Weld Conversion Bend
Before fitting, check that the pipe and fitting are the correct size, clean and dry. Cut the pipe square, remove burrs, chamfer the pipe end where required and follow the correct solvent weld process for the pipe system being installed.
Once solvent cement is applied and the joint is made, leave the connection to cure according to the solvent cement instructions before testing or putting the waste system into use.
