Description

The male adaptor is used to connect 40mm solvent weld waste pipework to a compatible female threaded fitting. It is a useful adaptor for plumbing installations where a solvent weld waste system needs to connect into a threaded waste fitting or appliance connection.

This FloPlast 40mm solvent weld male adaptor is supplied in White and is designed for compatible ABS solvent weld waste systems. When installed with the correct solvent cement and pipe preparation, it creates a strong permanent joint on the solvent weld side.

Using a Male Adaptor

Before fitting, check that the pipe, adaptor and threaded connection are the correct size and type for the installation. Cut the pipe square, remove burrs, chamfer the pipe end where required and follow the correct solvent weld process for the system being installed.

Apply solvent cement to the solvent weld connection as directed by the manufacturer. Make sure the threaded side is connected only to a compatible female threaded fitting.

Adaptor for 40mm Waste Pipe Systems

This male adaptor is suitable for 40mm waste pipe installations where a threaded connection point is required. It can be used in kitchen, bathroom, shower, utility and general internal waste pipework.
