FloPlast 40mm Solvent Weld Cross Tee White

Description

The cross tee is used to connect four 40mm solvent weld waste pipes together in a single fitting. It is a useful plumbing fitting for creating multi-direction waste pipe connections in domestic and light commercial installations.

This FloPlast 40mm solvent weld cross tee is supplied in White and is designed for compatible ABS solvent weld waste systems. When installed with the correct solvent cement and pipe preparation, it creates a strong permanent joint.

The  tee is designed for 40mm solvent weld waste pipe systems where four pipe connections need to meet in one fitting. It is commonly used in waste layouts where multiple runs need to connect neatly into the same point.

Using a Cross Tee

Before fitting, check that all pipe and fitting connections are the correct size, clean and dry. Cut the pipe square, remove burrs, chamfer the pipe ends where required and follow the correct solvent weld process for the system being installed.

Once solvent cement has been applied and the joint is made, leave the connection to cure according to the solvent cement instructions before testing or putting the waste system into use.

This cross  is suitable for 40mm waste pipe systems where several pipe runs need to connect into one fitting. It can help create a tidy layout in kitchen, bathroom, utility and general internal waste pipe installations.

Before ordering, check the pipe size, colour and connection type required for the job. This fitting is for solvent weld waste systems and is not intended for push fit waste pipe.
