Description
The solvent weld reducer 50mm to 32mm is used to reduce a 50mm solvent weld waste pipe connection down to 32mm. It is a useful fitting for waste pipe installations where smaller 32mm pipework needs to connect into a larger 50mm waste system.
This reducer is suitable for compatible solvent weld waste pipe systems and is available in White, Olive Grey and Black to match common waste pipe colours. The fitting creates a permanent solvent weld joint when used with the correct solvent cement and pipe preparation method.

Using a Solvent Weld Reducer
Before fitting, check that the pipe and fitting are the correct size, clean and dry. Cut the pipe square, remove burrs, chamfer the pipe end where required and follow the correct solvent weld process for the pipe system being installed.
Once solvent cement is applied and the joint is made, the connection should be left to cure according to the solvent cement instructions before the waste system is tested or put into use.
50mm to 32mm Waste Pipe Reducer
This solvent weld reducer is designed for reducing from 50mm waste pipe down to 32mm waste pipe. It is useful where smaller appliance, basin or branch waste pipework needs to join into a larger waste run.
Before ordering, check the pipe sizes and colour required for the installation. If a different reduction is needed, such as 40mm to 32mm or 50mm to 40mm, another solvent weld reducer may be more suitable.
