Description
The Y branch is used to join or branch 32mm solvent weld waste pipework at a 135 degree angle. It is a practical waste fitting for basin, cloakroom and general plumbing installations where one waste pipe run needs to connect into another.
This 32mm solvent weld 135 degree Y branch is suitable for compatible solvent weld waste systems and is available in Black, Olive Grey and White to match common waste pipe colours. When installed with the correct solvent cement and pipe preparation, it creates a permanent solvent weld joint.

Using a 32mm Y Branch
Before fitting, check that the pipe and fitting are the correct size, clean and dry. Cut the pipe square, remove burrs, chamfer the pipe end where required and follow the correct solvent weld process for the pipe system being installed.
Once solvent cement is applied and the joint is made, leave the connection to cure according to the solvent cement instructions before testing or putting the waste system into use.
Y for 135 Degree Waste Pipe Runs
This Y branch is designed for 32mm waste pipe systems where an angled branch connection is required. It can be used where pipework needs to merge into a main waste run or where a branch needs to be taken off at a smoother angle.
Before ordering, check the pipe size, colour and branch angle required for the installation. If a different size is needed, such as 40mm or 50mm, another solvent weld branch may be more suitable.
