The 450mm road gully 900mm invert is used to collect surface water and connect it into a suitable underground drainage system. It is suitable for road drainage, yard drainage, car parks, access roads, forecourts and site drainage installations.
This Brett Martin B9450 road gully has a 450mm diameter body and 900mm invert depth. It connects to 160mm underground drainage pipework and can also be adapted for 150mm twinwall pipe when cut to the marked outlet line.
The trapped design helps reduce odours from the drainage system, while the access bung allows future maintenance. As a result, this gully is a practical option for larger surface water drainage and groundwork projects.
450mm Road Gully for Surface Water Drainage
The 450mm road gully collects surface water before it enters the underground drainage run. It is commonly used where water needs to drain from roads, yards, kerbside areas, car parks and larger hardstanding areas.
Brett Martin lists the B9450 as a 450mm x 900mm road gully. The official technical data lists the material as polyethylene, with a 100 litre capacity and a 90mm trap.

450mm Road Gully 160mm Outlet
This 450mm road gully connects directly to 160mm underground drainage pipework. The stepped spigot outlet also gives installers the option to convert the outlet for 150mm twinwall pipe where suitable.
Before installation, check the pipe route, outlet connection, invert level and finished surface level. Also, make sure the selected gully grating suits the loading area and site specification.
Use compatible 160mm underground drainage pipe and fittings. If the gully connects to twinwall pipe, follow the correct cut line and connection guidance.
450mm Road Gully Installation Use
Install the 450mm road gully as part of a properly planned surface water drainage system. Good bedding, support and backfill help keep the gully stable after installation.
The gully should sit at the correct level for the chosen grating and finished surface. Then connect the outlet to the correct underground drainage pipework.
This product is the gully body only. A suitable gully grating, frame or cover may be required to complete the installation.
