Description
The riser sealing ring is used with compatible Kayflow 450mm inspection chamber components. It helps seal the joint between the chamber base and riser, or between compatible riser sections, as part of a 110mm underground drainage chamber system.
This Kayflow UG1007 sealing ring is part of the 450mm inspection chamber range. It is designed for use with the matching 450mm chamber base and 450mm chamber riser.
A correctly fitted seal helps support a secure chamber assembly. It is useful for domestic drainage, garden drainage, extensions, repairs and light-duty underground drainage work.
Riser Sealing Ring for 450mm Manhole Chambers
The riser sealing ring helps create a sealed joint within a compatible 450mm inspection chamber setup. It is used where riser sections are fitted to build the chamber height.
Kayflow lists UG1007 as the riser seal for the 450 base. The same 450mm chamber range includes the UG1003 riser and UG1005 chamber base.

Riser Sealing Ring Connection
This riser sealing ring should be fitted as part of the chamber build-up. It should only be installed with compatible Kayflow 450mm chamber components.
Before fitting, check that the chamber base, riser and sealing ring are clean and correctly aligned. Also, make sure the seal is seated properly before the chamber is backfilled.
Do not force chamber sections together if the seal is twisted, trapped or sitting out of position. A clean and correctly seated seal will help the chamber assembly fit properly.
Riser Sealing Ring Installation Use
The riser sealing ring should be installed as part of a properly supported inspection chamber system. Correct bedding, backfill and chamber support help keep the chamber stable after installation.
Kayflow states that 450 inspection chambers can be installed to a maximum depth of 1200mm. Therefore, the final chamber depth should be checked before risers and covers are fitted.
This product is a sealing ring only. It is not a chamber base, riser, cover or frame on its own.
