Description
The chamber riser is used to build up the height of a compatible Kayflow 320mm inspection chamber system. It helps raise the chamber assembly closer to the finished ground level while keeping access available for inspection, rodding and maintenance.
This Kayflow UG1002 riser is part of the 320mm manhole chamber range for 110mm underground drainage layouts. It is designed for use with compatible Kayflow 320mm chamber bases, riser seals and cover options.
The riser is useful for domestic drainage, garden drainage, extensions, repairs and light-duty underground drainage work where extra chamber height is required.
Chamber Riser for 320mm Manhole Chambers
The chamber riser allows a compatible 320mm inspection chamber to be built up to suit the installation depth. It is used between the chamber base and the cover setup, or with other compatible riser sections where required.
Kayflow lists UG1002 as the 320 riser for its 320mm inspection chamber system. The same range includes the UG1004 chamber base, UG108 riser seal, UG1000 round cover, UG2000 square cover and UG1013 square lid adaptor.

Chamber Riser Connection
This chamber riser should be fitted as part of a compatible Kayflow 320mm chamber assembly. It helps extend the chamber height so the cover and frame can finish closer to the required ground level.
Before fitting, check that the chamber base, riser, seal and cover components are all compatible. Also, make sure the joint areas are clean and correctly aligned before assembly.
Kayflow states that silicone sealant should be used to fit the first riser to the manhole base and for subsequent riser-to-riser jointing. Always follow the site specification and manufacturer guidance.
Chamber Riser Installation Use
The chamber riser should be installed as part of a properly supported inspection chamber system. Correct bedding, backfill and chamber support help keep the assembly stable after installation.
Kayflow states that 320 inspection chambers can be installed to a maximum depth of 600mm, and all outlets are 110mm. Therefore, the final chamber depth should be checked before adding risers.
This product is a riser only. It is not a chamber base, sealing ring, adaptor or cover on its own.
