Description
The chamber base is used to create the lower section of a compatible Kayflow 320mm inspection chamber system. It provides access for inspection, rodding and maintenance on 110mm underground drainage layouts.
This Kayflow UG1004 320mm manhole chamber base includes a main entry and 2 x 45° side entries. It is suitable for domestic drainage, garden drainage, extensions, repairs and light-duty underground drainage work.
The base is part of the Kayflow 320mm inspection chamber range and should be used with compatible risers, riser seals, covers and adaptors where required.
Chamber Base for 320mm Manhole Chambers
The chamber base forms the main drainage channel and inlet layout within a compatible 320mm inspection chamber. It allows 110mm pipework to connect into the chamber while keeping future access available.
Kayflow lists the UG1004 as the 320 manhole base. The full 320 chamber system includes 1 main entry, 2 x 45° entries and 2 blanking plugs.

Chamber Base 3 Inlet 45° Layout
This chamber base has a practical 3 inlet layout for smaller underground drainage systems. The 45° side entries help create angled branch connections into the chamber.
Before installation, check the pipe route, flow direction, chamber position and finished ground level. Also, make sure any unused entries are correctly blanked before the chamber is backfilled.
Use compatible 110mm underground drainage pipe and fittings. If extra chamber height is required, use the correct Kayflow 320mm riser and riser seal.
Chamber Base Installation Use
The base should be installed as part of a properly supported inspection chamber system. Correct bedding, support and backfill help keep the chamber stable after installation.
Kayflow states that 320 inspection chambers can be installed to a maximum depth of 600mm, and all outlets are 110mm. Therefore, the final chamber depth should be checked before risers and covers are fitted.
This product is a chamber base only. It is not a riser, sealing ring, adaptor or cover on its own.
