Description
The flexible drainage tee 110mm to 4 inch is used to create a 90 degree branch connection between compatible drainage pipes. It is useful where a rigid tee branch is difficult to install or where slight movement, tight access or pipe alignment needs to be allowed for.
This VIPSeal VTR118 90 degree tee is designed for pipe outside diameters from 106mm to 118mm. It is commonly used with compatible 110mm and 4 inch drainage, waste or low pressure pipework where the pipe size falls within the stated range.
The flexible EPDM rubber body and stainless steel bands help create a secure connection when tightened correctly. As a result, it is a practical option for repairs, alterations and awkward drainage branch connections.

VIPSeal VTR118 Flexible 90 Degree Tee
This flexible drainage tee is part of the VIPSealPlumb range. VIPSeal lists the VTR tee range for domestic and commercial plumbing applications, with the VTR118 covering 106mm to 118mm pipe outside diameters.
The flexible body can help join plain-ended pipework where a rigid tee branch does not suit the job. However, the pipe ends must be clean, supported and correctly aligned before tightening.
Use a torque setting of 6Nm when tightening the stainless steel bands. Do not over-tighten the clamps, as this may damage the fitting or affect the seal.
Flexible Drainage Tee Installation Use
Install the flexible drainage tee as part of a properly supported drainage connection. The pipe ends should be cut square, cleaned and pushed into the tee to the correct depth.
Next, position the clamps evenly over the pipe ends. Then tighten the bands to the correct torque and check that the fitting sits securely.
This product is a flexible 90 degree tee only. Additional pipe, couplers, adaptors or drainage fittings may be required depending on the job.
