Description
The 200mm drainage pipe 3m single socket is used for larger underground foul water and surface water drainage systems. It is suitable for trade, commercial, groundwork and larger site drainage installations where 200mm pipework is required.
This 3 metre underground drainage pipe has a single socket connection, making it suitable for connecting into compatible 200mm underground drainage fittings. The plain end can be joined into a suitable coupler, socket or fitting depending on the pipe layout.

The 200mm drainage pipe is used where larger pipe capacity is needed. It can be used on foul water systems, surface water runs, yard drainage, commercial drainage layouts and larger groundwork projects.
The 3m length is useful where a shorter pipe is easier to transport, handle or install compared with a full 6m length.

200mm Drainage Pipe Single Socket Connection
This 200mm drainage pipe has one socketed end. The socket allows the pipe to connect into compatible 200mm underground drainage pipework and fittings.
Before installation, check that the pipe route, fall direction and joint positions are correct. Pipe ends should be clean, square and correctly aligned before jointing.
If the pipe is cut to length, make a clean square cut and chamfer the cut edge before fitting. This helps protect the seal and makes the joint easier to assemble.
200mm Drainage Pipe Installation Use
The 200mm drainage pipe should be installed as part of a properly planned underground drainage system. Correct bedding and backfill are important to keep the pipe supported after installation.
Use suitable pipe lubricant on ring seal joints where required. Do not force pipework into poor alignment, as this may place stress on the socket or joint.
Always follow the site specification, manufacturer guidance and current UK drainage requirements. Make sure the wider system includes suitable access for future inspection, rodding and maintenance.
