Description
Non return valve from Capricorn for 110mm underground drainage systems. This fitting helps protect drainage pipework against backwater, flooding and reverse flow by allowing water to pass in the correct direction while closing when backflow occurs.
The valve is designed for suitable horizontal drainage pipework and can be used in drainage catch pits, inspection chambers and underground drainage systems where backflow protection is required. It is useful for domestic, commercial and trade drainage installations.

How to Use This Drainage Valve
First, check the pipe size, drainage layout and required flow direction. The valve must face the correct way so water can discharge normally.
Next, make sure the pipework and sealing areas are clean. Remove grit, dirt, grease and damaged pipe edges before installation.
Install the valve on suitable horizontal pipework and keep the top access area reachable. After fitting, check that the flap opens freely in the flow direction and closes correctly against backflow.
