How to Use a Glass Thickness Gauge

Open the gauge jaws and place them around the glass unit or frame section being measured. Make sure the measuring faces sit squarely against the surfaces for the most accurate result.

Read the measurement from the ruler and record the sealed unit thickness. Use the double-sided ruler from the most convenient angle, especially when working around fitted windows and doors.
