How to Use a Holesaw Arbor

Fit the correct compatible holesaw onto the arbor and tighten it securely before use. Then insert the SDS Plus shank into a compatible drill and check that it locks into place.

Use the pilot drill to start the hole accurately. Apply steady pressure and allow the holesaw to cut at its own pace. Do not force the tool, as this can reduce accuracy and increase wear.

Use the correct holesaw for the material being cut. Wear suitable PPE, including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. When using SDS Plus rotary hammer drills with holesaws, use rotary-only mode where required and do not use hammer action unless the holesaw manufacturer specifically allows it.
