Description
The Timco Holesaw Arbor Hex Shank 14-30mm is a holesaw arbor for connecting compatible smaller holesaws to standard drill chucks. It is designed to fit holesaws from 14mm to 30mm, making it ideal for trade drilling, cutting and installation work.
This Holesaw Arbor includes an 11mm hex shank for a secure grip in compatible drill chucks. It also includes a pilot drill, which helps guide the holesaw into the material and improves starting accuracy.
The AA1 arbor has a 1/2″ thread shank with 20 threads per inch. It is suitable for use with compatible holesaws when cutting holes for pipework, cable routing, fixings, fittings, back boxes and general building applications.

How to Use a Holesaw Arbor
Fit the correct compatible holesaw onto the arbor and tighten it securely before use. Then insert the hex shank into a compatible drill chuck and check that it is held firmly.
Use the pilot drill to start the hole accurately. Apply steady pressure and allow the holesaw to cut at its own pace. Do not force the tool, as this can reduce accuracy and increase wear.
Use the correct holesaw for the material being cut. Wear suitable PPE, including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Always check the drill, arbor and holesaw are compatible before use.
