Description
The Timco Bi-Metal Holesaws are high-quality constant pitch holesaws for cutting clean, accurate holes in a wide range of trade materials. Available in multiple sizes from 16mm to 105mm, these holesaws are ideal for plumbing, electrical, ventilation, joinery, fitting and general installation work.
Each holesaw uses an M42 grade HSS steel cutting edge with 8% cobalt. This helps provide strength, heat resistance and long cutting life when working through suitable materials, including wood, plastic, plasterboard, non-ferrous metals, thin sheet metal, cast iron and stainless steel.
The constant pitch tooth pattern helps reduce chatter when drilling, especially in metal and thin sheet materials. Each holesaw also has the diameter stamped onto the body, making size selection quicker when working from a toolbox, van kit or trade counter stock.
These Bi-Metal Holesaws are suitable for compatible holesaw arbors and pilot drills. Choose the correct holesaw size for the job, then pair it with the correct arbor depending on the diameter and drill type being used.

How to Use Bi-Metal Holesaws
Select the correct holesaw size for the hole required. Fit the holesaw to a compatible arbor and pilot drill, then check everything is tightened securely before drilling.
Start the hole with steady pressure and allow the pilot drill to guide the cut. Use the correct drill speed for the material and holesaw diameter. For metal cutting, use suitable cutting lubricant where required and avoid forcing the tool.
Wear suitable PPE, including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Check for hidden cables, pipework or services before drilling into walls, floors, ceilings or panels.
