Description
Drywall joint tape from Timco is a professional grade self-adhesive fibreglass mesh tape for plasterboard jointing, repairing cracks and reinforcing seams before plastering or filling. Manufactured using a strong 9 x 9 fibreglass weave, this drywall tape provides high mechanical strength while helping to reduce cracking at plasterboard joints. How to Use Drywall Joint Tape
Make sure the plasterboard surface is clean, dry and free from dust, loose material or grease before applying the tape.
Apply the drywall joint tape centrally over the plasterboard joint, seam or crack. Press it down firmly along the full length to ensure good contact with the surface.
Apply a suitable jointing compound or filler over the tape, feathering the edges for a smooth finish. Allow to dry, then sand and finish as required.
