Soudal Lead Sheet Sealant is a specialist low modulus neutral cure silicone for lead flashing, roofing joints, and exterior sealing. It gives a lead grey finish and forms a watertight, permanently flexible seal. It is designed to eliminate the need for grouting and works well where long-term weather resistance matters. Soudal describes it as compatible with all types of lead and suitable for many common building materials.

This sealant offers excellent adhesion to lead, metals, brickwork, concrete, granite, marble, slate, cement, stone, and roofing tiles. It is non-corrosive and has good UV and weather resistance. As a result, it is a strong choice for external roofing and flashing work. Soudal’s latest UK technical data sheet lists a skin formation time of around 6 minutes, curing speed of around 2 mm per 24 hours, and maximum joint movement of ±20%.

Application Advice
Apply to clean, sound, and dry surfaces with a standard sealant gun. Tool the bead firmly into the joint for the best finish.
