Description
The dry verge ridge cap is used to finish the ridge end where a Universal Dry Verge system meets a half round ridge tile. It helps create a neat, secure and weather-resistant finish at the roof apex.
This round dry verge ridge cap is designed for use with Easy-Trim Verge U dry verge units. The flexible flap design contours around the verge pieces, helping seal the ridge end while reducing the risk of water ingress, bird entry and insect infestation.
Made from UV stable polypropylene, the cap is lightweight, durable and simple to fit. It is suitable for pitched roofing work, dry verge installations, re-roofing jobs and roofline repairs where a mortar-free verge finish is required.
Dry Verge Ridge Cap for Round Ridge Tiles
The dry verge ridge cap is fitted at the roof apex to close the end of the dry verge run. It provides a cleaner finish than traditional mortar bedding and helps protect the junction between the ridge tile and verge system.

Fitting a Dry Verge Ridge Cap
Install the dry verge system and ridge tiles as normal, then position the round ridge cap over the end of the ridge tile. The flexible flaps should sit around the sides of the verge units to help create a tight sealed finish.
Before fitting, check the ridge tile profile, verge units, batten position and roofline detail. This helps make sure the cap sits correctly and gives a neat finish at the roof apex.
