Description
The dry verge ridge cap is used to finish the top of a Universal Dry Verge run where the verge system meets the ridge tile. This angled version gives a sharper roof apex finish while helping seal the ridge end neatly.
The cap is designed for use with Easy-Trim Verge U dry verge units. Its flexible flap design contours around the sides of the verge system, helping create a sealed finish that reduces the risk of water ingress, bird entry and insect infestation.
Made from UV stable polypropylene, the cap is lightweight, weather-resistant and maintenance free once fitted correctly. It is suitable for new roofing, re-roofing and roofline repair work where a mortar-free verge finish is required.
Dry Verge Ridge Cap for Angled Ridge Finishes
The dry verge ridge cap fits over the end of the ridge tile at the top of the gable. It helps close the dry verge system at the roof apex and gives the installation a cleaner finished appearance.

Fitting a Dry Verge Ridge Cap
Install the dry verge units and ridge tile as normal, then place the angled ridge cap over the end of the ridge tile. The flexible flaps should sit neatly around the outside of the verge units to help form a tight sealed finish.
Before fitting, check the ridge tile profile, verge unit position, batten fixing and roofline detail. This helps make sure the cap sits correctly and gives a secure finish at the roof apex.
