Description
This 68mm round downpipe is a 2.75m Freefoam Freeflow uPVC rainwater pipe for carrying water from the gutter outlet down to a drain, gully or soakaway. It is designed for domestic rainwater systems and suits shorter vertical downpipe runs on houses, garages, porches and extensions.
68mm Round Downpipe Use
The 2.75m length is useful for repairs, replacements and smaller roofline installations. Installers use it below running outlets, stop end outlets and hopper connections. As a result, it is a practical choice for standard downpipe work where a 4m or 5.5m length is not needed.
Freeflow Downpipe Compatibility
This pipe forms part of the Freefoam Freeflow round downpipe system. It works with matching 68mm round pipe clips, connector sockets, offset bends, branches, shoes, hoppers and adaptors. It can also be used with Freeflow half round gutter outlets when building a complete rainwater system.
Downpipe Installation
The pipe can be cut to length on site and connected with compatible push-fit rainwater fittings. However, installers should still check outlet position, pipe alignment, wall fixing points and discharge location before fitting. The lightweight uPVC construction makes the pipe easy to handle and suitable for long-term external use.
