Square Fascia Joiner – Freefoam FWJ
The square fascia joiner from Freefoam is a 300mm finishing trim designed to cover the straight joint between two lengths of square-leg fascia board. It conceals the cut board ends and creates a clean, consistent roofline finish.
Freefoam FWJ is compatible with both FW 10mm capping fascia and FMS 18mm full-replacement fascia. The 300mm trim can be cut down on site to match the width of the fascia board being installed.
Square Fascia Joiner Colours
This stocked fascia joiner is available in four popular Freefoam finishes:
- White
- Black Ash Woodgrain
- Anthracite Grey Woodgrain
- Agate Grey Woodgrain
Anthracite Grey has a nearest equivalent of RAL 7016, while Agate Grey has a nearest equivalent of RAL 7038. These references are approximate, so check a physical sample when matching existing roofline products, doors or windows.

The FWJ joiner is suitable for straight fascia-board junctions and can be used with:

This trim is intended to finish and cover a straight board joint. It is not a structural connector and should not replace the correct supporting framework or fascia fixings.

Fitting the Square Joiner
Position the adjoining fascia boards over suitable supporting roof timbers and leave the expansion allowance recommended by the manufacturer. Cut the FWJ joiner to the required board width and check its position before securing it with a suitable uPVC adhesive or approved fixing method.
Do not force the boards tightly together beneath the trim. Allowing for normal expansion and contraction helps prevent distortion as external temperatures change.
