Freefoam Aluminium Drip Trim for External Cladding
The Aluminium Drip Trim helps direct rainwater away from windows, doors and other openings in a Freefoam external cladding installation. This genuine Freefoam FCA3063 profile is manufactured from durable aluminium and supplied as one 3m length.
It is compatible with Freefoam FC151 Standard Shiplap and FV100 Open V cladding. Its projecting drip edge encourages water to fall clear of the opening rather than running back towards the cladding, window frame or supporting wall structure.

Where to Use the Aluminium Drip Trim
The FCA3063 is normally installed above window and door heads within an external cladding elevation. It can also be used at other horizontal termination points where a defined and durable drip edge is required.
The projecting profile helps manage water as it travels down the face of the cladding. It directs rainwater away from the opening below, helping to reduce staining and unnecessary exposure around frames and vulnerable junctions.
Installing the Aluminium Drip Trim
Fit the trim to a level, adequately supported substrate before installing the surrounding cladding boards. Make sure the projecting drip edge faces away from the building and is positioned to discharge water clear of the frame or opening below.
Use suitable fixings for the aluminium profile and supporting substrate. The drip trim must form part of a correctly detailed installation and should not replace suitable membranes, flashings or weatherproof seals.

Aluminium Drip Trim Colour and Dimensions
The profile is supplied in an Aluminium Grey finish, with a published nearest colour reference of RAL 9006. This neutral finish can be used alongside White and woodgrain Freefoam cladding colours.
Published merchant dimensions are approximately 75mm wide and 2.5mm thick. These measurements have not been independently confirmed in Freefoam’s public product information, so check the physical profile before relying on them for a tight installation detail.

Ordering the Correct Quantity
Each product contains one 3m length. Measure the combined width of every window, door and horizontal opening where a drip profile is required. Allow additional material for cuts, overlaps and installation waste.
Store the aluminium trim flat, dry and properly supported before installation to avoid accidental bending or surface damage.
