Fortex Double Shiplap Butt Joint 333mm
Double Shiplap Butt Joint for use with Fortex 333mm exterior cladding boards. It covers the point where two board ends meet and gives the finished wall a neat, colour-matched appearance.
Special-order product – we do not normally hold this range in stock. The usual lead time is approximately 1–2 weeks.
Fortex Double Shiplap Butt Joint
First, this joint follows the stepped shape of the Fortex Double Shiplap board. Therefore, it fits the profile more closely than a general-purpose cladding trim.
Also, the embossed face matches the timber-effect finish of the cladding. As a result, the joint blends into the wall and helps create a clean finish.
However, this product is not a universal joint. Use it only with the correct Fortex 333mm Double Shiplap profile.

Choosing Your Double Shiplap Butt Joint
Select the same colour as your Fortex cladding boards. This helps the joint match the rest of the finished elevation.
Next, count each point where two board lengths will meet. Quantity 1 equals one individual butt joint. Therefore, order one joint for each board-to-board connection.
Also remember to allow for starter trims, corners, edge trims and ventilation parts. These items are sold separately and may be needed to complete the installation.
Delivery & Collection
When ordered with 5m Fortex cladding boards, the complete order is available for local North East delivery or collection from our Hexham trade counter only.
The butt joint may be suitable for parcel delivery when ordered on its own. However, please contact us before ordering if you need standalone delivery.
