Description

The Timco Fine Surface Filler 600g is a ready-to-use fine grade filler for internal smoothing and repair work. It is ideal for filling cracks, fine nicks, shallow depressions and small surface imperfections in walls and ceilings before painting or decorating.

This fine surface filler is supplied in a 600g tub and needs no mixing before use. It forms a tough, durable repair once cured and can be sanded smooth before painting with suitable oil-based or water-based paints.

The low odour, water-based formula is easy to apply around windows, doors, skirting boards, architraves, plasterwork, render, masonry and timber structures. As a result, it is a useful filler for decorators, builders, installers, maintenance teams and DIY users.

This Fine Surface Filler can fill up to 3mm per layer, with an open working time of around 30 minutes. It usually sets in 1 to 2 hours and fully cures in around 24 hours, depending on conditions and application depth.

How to Use Fine Surface Filler

Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material before applying the filler. Use a filling knife or suitable applicator to press the filler into the repair area.

Smooth the surface before the filler starts to skin. For deeper repairs, build up in layers of up to 3mm and allow each layer to set before applying more filler. Once cured, sand smooth where needed and decorate with a suitable paint.
